THE COLORWAY
Aquarium Afterparty is a bright, highly variegated and speckled hand-dyed sock yarn bursting with electric turquoise, aqua, lime, pink, purple and deep blue.
Available on a soft 75% superwash merino wool / 25% nylon fingering-weight base at 437 yards, or a 60% superwash merino / 20% mohair / 20% silk base at 383 yards.
AFTER HOURS AT THE AQUARIUM
The lights are off. The doors are locked. The fish have absolutely lost control of the situation.
Electric lime crashes into flashes of violet, hot pink, deep blue and unexpected hits of warmer color, while scattered black speckles give the whole skein that unmistakable someone brought a blacklight energy.
It’s bright. It’s aquatic. It’s a little chaotic. And apparently nobody told the jellyfish they had to go home.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This highly variegated colorway is designed to keep things interesting as you work, with colors that can stripe, flash, pool, mingle and surprise you from one section to the next. Every skein has its own particular distribution of color, making each one a tiny, woolly afterparty all its own.
Perfect for socks, shawls, hats, cowls, accessories, or any project where you want the yarn doing a good portion of the talking.
MADE JUST FOR YOU
Aquarium Afterparty is dyed to order by hand in small batches in Troutdale, Oregon.
Please allow 1–3 business days for your yarn to be dyed and prepared for shipment.
THE FINE PRINT
Because each skein is dyed by hand in small batches, no two skeins will be exactly alike. For projects using more than one skein, alternating skeins every few rows is recommended to help blend natural variations. I recommend purchasing enough yarn for your entire project at once.
Every effort is made to photograph colors accurately, but colors may appear slightly different depending on your screen and lighting. Color and speckle placement will naturally vary between hand-dyed skeins.
Photos are taken in natural light; some photos use AI-edited backgrounds for privacy purposes. The yarn itself and its colors have not been digitally altered.
